Bablu Bhai (standing behind Anika), manager of the resort, was kidnapped by tribal guerillas a few years ago & held for 3 months in the forest. but they treated him very nicely. guerillas are armed w/ American guns left behind in Vietnam73 views

we took this narrow little village road that people who visit Teknaf don't know about. the road ends after a while, & even our 4-wheeler couldn't make it past it all the way to the ocean. so we parked the car & walked73 views

Chuck became obsessed w/ these farmer hats, which are used only in this region. they're v versatile - protects u from sun & rain. in the rain, the farmers usually pull up their lungis into shorts, so they can dry themselves off easily after.73 views
